The TUGC team carried out much needed remedial works shifting two tonnes of substrate, fertiliser and sedum cuttings up three flights of stairs to help refresh a neglected roof on a social housing project in North London.

The history of the green roof, which was split across a number of levels, is unknown and had developed major cracks and become threadbare in large areas resulting in these remedial works being carried out. But over 28,000 steps and 100 floors later the roof looked much better and is ready for the spring sunshine.
