We were thrilled to be in Leicestershire recently, working on a new stunning house for a local architect. The house has been designed and is owned by the architect and features a number of green wildflower roofs.
There are 5 roof areas in total that have each been installed with a wildflower roof. Wildflower roofs offer a more varied mix of plant species for a wider range of colour and also allow windblown local seeds to grow, giving real biodiverse value.
Working with the contractor to plan and schedule the install meant the wildflower roofs were installed and finished promptly and have started to establish even while the other works continue on around them.
