Wild West End Projects – London
Wild West End are working together with Shaftesbury plc and TUGC to create more biodiversity in London’s West End. We are pleased to present here two greening projects completed so far as part of this process.
The first project is a green living roof we installed in Chinatown. The very narrow streets and stairways throughout London’s west end provided us a serious logistical challenge but despite this the TUGC team managed to safely complete the works creating some more important and eye catching urban greening in this very busy area of the UK capital.
Nearby on the next installation project near the Hippodrome in Charing Cross we used ANS Global modular green roof system to create a lush living roof lawn. Narrow walkways and limited access created logistical challenges once again, but with these overcome through careful planning and co-ordination, everyone involved was very happy with the results.
Both of these projects add vital green space and biodiversity into a densely populated and crowded area of London.
