Maintaing “The Green House” Green Roof
Our green roof maintenance team have been in Devon at the highly acclaimed “Green House”. Set in the stunning surroundings of the Tiverton countryside and designed by David Sheppard Architects, one of it’s most impressive features is its large sloped living Sedum roof.
The wedge shaped living roof which helps blend this deceptively large property into the surroundings, has taken well after its original installation and has been thriving. So much so that it was in need of some TLC which we were happy to provide.
Our team carried out the usual checks on drainage and structural integrity before attending to the Sedum itself providing weeding and feeding as necessary, removing dead vegetation and checking that the irrigation was performing correctly.
