It’s that time of the year again, with the arrival of Spring and some welcome sunshine, when green roof owners are looking to have their wonderful living roofs inspected and maintained. Our maintenance team have been up and down the country trimming, tending and inspecting a wide array of lush green living roofs of all shapes and sizes.
And they have visited some fabulous green roof installs, both old and familiar and new including visits to Nottingham, London, Bath and Swanage. And some stunning wild green winged orchids on a school green roof in Cornwall (see final few images).
And green roof maintenance is not just some weeding. Our specialist team check the structural integrity of the roof, inspect the drainage system, and ensure the health and vitality of the plants and grasses. We remove weeds, dead plants, and debris, and fertilize as necessary.
