Despite the inhospitable start to the new year with the weather, we have been especially busy with living roof installs and urban greening maintenance projects. We have been braving the wind, rain and sudden frost on a number of exciting and rewarding projects.  Here is a selection of those not mentioned elsewhere but still worthy of a shout out.

Green Roof Repair – Mawgan Porth, Cornwall.

We were asked to carry out some substanstial repairs to a storm damaged green roof in the stunning Mawgan Porth in North Cornwall. The roof had sustained serious damage in the recent storms and needed urgent attention which we were happy and able to provide.  This involved stripping back the remaining install, checking the sub layers and repairing or replacing elements where necessary, before installing a new top layer Sedum covering.

A very challenging job but the client is delighted with the finished results!

  • New Commercial Green Roof – Hampstead, London.

New Commercial Green Roof – Hampstead, London.

We were asked to plan and install a green living roof in the Hampstead area of London. The install was for a raised section of flat roof with a storm guttering surround on a commercial building. The finished roof looks striking as you can see from the images.

Pitched Green Roof – South London.

During some recent work on their property our client decided to install a green roof  on a previous extension. Fortunately for us the sun decided to shine while we got to work on this stunning pitched sedum green roof in South London.

Despite its size this job proved quite complex and challenging, especially with the pitch involved. But the client is over the moon with the finished result.
