Green Roofs on Kingston Uni Student Accomodation

Our team has begun the spring by starting the installation of four green roofs on a student accommodation block at Kingston University.

The installations, which comprise of a low maintenance sedum and wildflower living roof,  includes the use of Aquaten fabric which attenuates up to 4 litres of extra water per square metre, whilst also locking and holding the water to make it available for plants as andwhen required. This aids growth as well as helping meet SUDs requirements, all helping to attenuate the water run-off from the ever growing cityscape.
