We were commissioned by The Lancet publishers to install a 7 metre high interior living wall in their London offices.

Modules fixed and planting commencing

A modular panel system was used, fixed onto a structural framework against the existing stud wall. This provided a strong support for the living wall.

We used a tower scaffold to gain access to each area of the wall which created a safe working environment.

Our next task was to incorporate an irrigation system to ensure even watering of the vegetation. Our horticultural expert designed the planting scheme to incorporate 2,000 house plants of different varieties.

Tower scaffold to gain access

This wall has proven to be the highlight of a multi-million pound refurbishment of these offices. Therefore creating a focal point for the office staff to enjoy all year round.

Our work will also create a healthy indoor climate and increase productivity within the workplace. The plants we have installed should also improve staff well being.

We have also won the ongoing maintenance  contract. This should see us keeping the wall in good shape going forward.
