We have added some colour and unique character to this picturesque summerhouse in West Norward, South London by installing a green living roof on it.

We used the Mobilane Global modular system for this project. This is a ready-made, green roof system that consists of a plant cassette filled with substrate and 6-8 different types of Sedum. The cassettes are easily placed against each other, creating a fast, versatile green carpet.

The team had to carry each modular tray through the house, down the narrow back garden and up a ladder transforming this felt roof into a lush sedum roof.

We completed the job on the same day, making as little mess as possible and tidying everything on completion.
